June update

The planning committee for the 40th reunion met this afternoon at the home of Carolyn Clapp (Whitley), and if our afternoon together is any indication, the reunion is going to be FUN!!! (Some people never change!)

Classmates traveled in from Florence, SC and Cary, Clemmons, and Raleigh to join those of us who are still "local" to make some final decisions on "what and where." I think alumni will be pleased with the weekend celebration we are pulling together. (Details at the end of this post.)

(Can anyone find any matches between the "then" and "now" photos?)

Of course, we had to take care of important business first -- a couple of folks pulled out their 1967 annual (The Talon) to share and reminisce. I heard more than one person say "Did I really write THAT in your annual? Oh, my!" I guess we're much older and wiser now -- or at least older!

Now for the important information about the reunion, here are the

Thank YOU, Susan! You are the one that had the initiative to get us started on this reunion. If you hadn't done it, this probably would not be happening.

Thank you all for your hard work. I loved the pictures. Isn't it amazing everyone looks the same!!!!! or maybe it's just me.

I look forward to seeing you all and I really appreciate your dedication. If you should need more volunteers, let me know.
